How We Brought This Project to Life
Site Visit & Homeowner Vision
We began with a full site walk and consultation with the homeowner, studying the sloped topography and tree canopy while mapping out their needs for a mountain-style home that embraces natural surroundings.
Design & Engineering Plan
Our in-house team developed architectural drawings, grading and drainage strategies, and structural engineering systems that respond to slope, water flow, and vaulted ceiling spans. Exterior materials were chosen through a collaborative design process.
Approval & Permitting
The complete plan set — architectural, civil, and structural — was submitted to the City of Rocklin for review. Code compliance, Title 24 energy reports, and slope-adaptive foundation solutions were integrated to meet local requirements.
Material Selection & 3D Visualization
The homeowner selected from several curated finish palettes, finalizing a Hardie board & batten exterior in Iron Gray, El Dorado stone veneer, exposed beams, and Class “A” composite roofing. 3D renderings allowed them to preview the final look before construction.
